Richard Strunk: a graduate of PV High School, I went on to receive a degree in Electronic Engineering and a PA Real Estate License. I have spent most of my life doing some form of construction. I began as a laborer/carpenter for G.R.O. construction in the mid 70's working under George DeAngelis. I worked my way through school designing, installing and maintaining burglar/fire alarms with Consolidated Security. I was a glazer with Yocum Glass, and a carpenter for Mazza Construction & Maintenance Company and Collie Construction. I spent most of my time in and around Montgomery County, PA. |
| I am cross trained in most construction fields, but at age 50+ my strength is in my experience, not in my back. So I limit the jobs I take to what I can do best. My work of choice is building upgrades. I do small jobs and big jobs. My priority is doing a good job, not taking pictures. This site will show some examples of jobs I have done, but I am not limited to what you see here. Most of my work has not been documented. If you bring me an idea or a vision, I'll be happy to work with you. You should understand that with the pace that technology is moving I can not know everything, but I am more then happy to learn. Vendors of new products are more then happy to bring us up to speed. I have been licensed in most of the local communities, but Pennsylvania has opted for a State license which I have. The government and the insurance companies are pricing the "little guy" out of business, but I am still here. You will not see illegal aliens on my job sites, but you will see me. I am directly involved and always on site. When I need help I use the most talented locals for trades I am not licensed to perform. I am fully insured and carry much more then the minimum insurance required. |
